Downtown, the low slope roofs sit behind masonry parapets on buff brick buildings put up between 1865 and 1880. On a roof like that the membrane is the easy part. The work is at the edges: coping that has been leaking into the wall for years, an old scupper or an internal drain running through the masonry, and a deck that has to be probed once the old layers come off. Can a building in the Jordan Historic District get a TPO roof?
