What does core sampling involve?
We cut a small section through the assembly to see exactly what is built up under the surface and whether it is dry. Each core is patched and sealed before we leave, and it is the only reliable way to know what is actually up there.
How is moisture mapping done?
Non-destructively, using infrared or capacitance survey to find where water has spread through the insulation. Suspect areas are then confirmed with a core, so the map is verified rather than inferred.
Will the report tell me to replace the roof?
Only if that is what the evidence shows. A large share of assessments conclude with targeted repairs and a maintenance schedule, and the report says so plainly.
