Wind finds the doors before the roof
An EF-1 tornado touched down near Zimmerman on March 6, 2017 and tracked 8.9 miles to Princeton, part of the earliest tornado outbreak Minnesota has on record. Storms like that rarely peel a steel roof off first. They push in an overhead door, and once the building is pressurized from inside, the roof lifts at the ridge and the endwall goes.
